Itinerary

Arrive at Paro International Airport and Drive to the nearest café for welcome tea and snacks. Visit Paro Dzong (Rinpung Dzong), an impressive fortress with beautiful architecture and historical significance. Next, explore the National Museum of Bhutan, which houses artifacts showcasing the country’s art, culture, and history. Spend the evening strolling through Paro town, where you can browse local souvenir shops and cafes and enjoy a traditional Bhutanese dinner at a local restaurant. Take in the serene ambiance of the valley and prepare for the adventure ahead.

 

Over Night Stay: Tenzinling Resort.

After breakfast, embark on a hike to the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery (Taktsang), a breathtaking structure perched on a cliff 3,120 meters above sea level. The trek takes about 2-3 hours each way, offering stunning views of the Paro Valley. Once at the monastery, explore its sacred sites, adorned with intricate murals and statues. Enjoy lunch at a Taktsang café along the trail. After descending, return to Paro and spend the evening with a relaxing hot stone bath at one of the Local homestay. After that, you can spend your restful night in Designated Hotel.

Over Night Stay :Tenzinling Resort.

Depart for Thimphu, about an hour's drive away. Visit the towering Buddha Dordenma statue, which offers panoramic views of the valley. Continue to Tashichho Dzong, the seat of the government and monastic body, known for its stunning architecture and beautiful gardens. You can now visit the Bhutanese Traditional Restaurant where you can savor Bhutanese dishes like ema datshi (chili cheese).In the afternoon, visit the National Memorial Chorten, built in memory of the third king. Explore local handicraft shops before enjoying dinner at the hotel, where you can savor Bhutanese dishes like ema datshi (chili cheese).

Over Night stay: Jambayang Resort.

Start your day with visits to the National Textile Museum and the Folk Heritage Museum, both offering insights into Bhutanese culture and crafts. After lunch, drive to Punakha, stopping at Dochula Pass to enjoy breathtaking views and visit the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens. Upon arrival in Punakha, visit Chimi Lhakhang, the fertility temple dedicated to the Divine Madman. Experience the serene surroundings and participate in local rituals before checking in to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

Over Night stay: 4boutique Hotel.

Explore Punakha Dzong, often regarded as Bhutan’s most beautiful dzong, located at the confluence of the Punakha and Mochhu rivers. Admire its stunning architecture and learn about its historical significance. Afterward, hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Punakha valley. In the afternoon, drive to Gangtey Valley, where the Nature and human beings coexist happily  . Spend time exploring local villages, experiencing the tranquil atmosphere.

Over Night stay: Hotel Phobjikha

Depart for Paro, Before you depart the valley you can experience the Gangtey Nature trail hike which is about an hour, overlooking the lush green valley of Phobjikha village. Before reaching Paro, visit the Tamcho Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest temples over looking the Thimphu – Paro Highway, known for its serene environment. Spend the afternoon shopping for unique handicrafts and souvenirs at local Paro markets. Enjoy a final dinner in Paro, savoring traditional Bhutanese dishes while reflecting on your journey through this beautiful country.

Enjoy a leisurely morning in Paro, allowing time for last-minute sightseeing or shopping. Visit any sites you may have missed, such as Drukgyel Dzong/Paro International Airport, which offers insights into Bhutan’s history. After breakfast, prepare for your departure, transferring to Paro International Airport.
